Reaching us from an airport hotel

A first message is more useful to us with five things in it:

• The hotel, or the address, and the room number if you already have one.
• The hour you want it, in Amsterdam time. A phone still running on the country you left is the single most common source of confusion we deal with.
• How long: an hour, ninety minutes, two, three, or the whole night.
• Who, if a name from the therapists page has already decided it for you — or what sort of evening it is if it has not.
• One therapist, or two.

The reply takes about ten minutes, and takes about ten minutes at three in the morning as well as at three in the afternoon. It comes back with who is free, what the booking costs, and what time she can be at your door. If you are writing from a gate or from somewhere over the North Sea, give us the landing time instead of the hour you want and we will work backwards from the flight.

Rooms at the Schiphol hotels are arranged on enquiry rather than confirmed straight off a page, so those are worth sending a little earlier than a booking in the centre would need.
