Day room massage at Schiphol, for a room booked by the hour

A day room is an ordinary hotel room sold for part of a day rather than a night: often from morning to late afternoon, sometimes in shorter blocks of a few hours. The hotels on the airport doorstep sell them to connecting passengers, to people who have arrived early for an evening flight, and to crews between duties. The room is the same one you would get overnight, with a bed, a bathroom and a door that closes. For a session that matters more than anything else, because we work outcall only and need exactly that: a private room, on the landside, that you have booked.

The block you buy sets the frame. Suppose the room is yours from 10:00 to 16:00. The first thirty minutes go to arriving, showering and settling. The last hour goes to a second shower, dressing and checking out. In between you have four and a half hours, which comfortably holds a rest and a session of ninety minutes or two hours. A shorter block of four hours holds one hour of session, placed in the middle. When you buy the room, buy it for longer than you think; an extra hour of room is cheap compared with rushing the end of a session.

Book the room first, then write on WhatsApp with the hotel, the block, the start you want, the length and your onward flight. Airport addresses are arranged ahead, so the ideal moment to write is before you board the inbound flight. The reply lists who is free and a confirmed start. Day rooms are designed for sleeping in daylight, which makes them better for a session than people expect. Blackout curtains, strong air conditioning, quiet corridors and a bathroom nobody else has used that day. Housekeeping has already been through, so the room is clean and nobody knocks. Reception staff are used to guests who check in at 09:00 and leave at 15:00 with visitors in between. And because the room is booked for a block, there is no awkward moment with a late checkout: the time is yours until the block ends.

In the middle of a travel day, most guests want something that leaves them relaxed but not heavy. Sensual massage and erotic oil are the usual choices: warm, slow and quick to shower off. After an overnight flight, ninety minutes gives the body time to let go. If there is a long flight ahead, avoid formats that need a long rinse unless the block is generous; nuru and body-to-body are wonderful with time and a good shower, and stressful without them. The session rates are the same as at any other hour. A single guest with one therapist pays EUR 180 for the hour in a day room, EUR 270 for ninety minutes and EUR 360 for two hours. A couple sharing the day room with one therapist pays EUR 360 an hour; with two therapists, EUR 720 an hour. The balance of the session is settled on arrival in cash in any major currency, by card or in crypto.

Day room plans are exposed to one risk above all: a late inbound that eats the front of the block. If the aircraft is delayed, message the thread before take-off if you can, or during the taxi if not. The office will say whether the booked start still works or whether it should move later inside the block. Moving the start on the day is not always possible, and a booking cancelled on the day keeps half its deposit, or all of it once she has set out, so a generous block is the simplest insurance you can buy.

The end of the block is fixed, and so is the flight. Pack before the session starts. Lay out the clothes you will travel in. After the therapist leaves, shower, dress and check the room once, then return the key card at the time you planned. If the block runs out while you are still drying your hair, ask reception for a short extension before it ends rather than after.
