Portuguese came out of a Brazilian childhood and her English out of everything since, and guests forget which one they began in. Her streets are the small ones, which is what she likes about them, and the hotels are twenty to thirty minutes away. Guests with one night in this city have usually spent most of it standing in a queue somewhere, and she does not make them explain that or apologise for it. Hours or half-nights are the common bookings, and the airport hotels by prior arrangement when the gate is early.

On WhatsApp, naming Nara, the hotel, the room number, the hour and how long. If the hotel is at the airport, say so.
If she is free for that hour we come back with a time. If she is not, we say so rather than sending somebody else in her place.
Payment on arrival: cash in any major currency at the day's rate, card, or crypto. The hour starts when the door closes.
