Why an airport booking carries a deposit
The deposit is half the fee, named in writing in the booking thread and paid before she sets out; the notice you give decides what is kept if you cancel.
At an airport the word deposit suggests something held and handed back later, like a coin in a luggage trolley or a hold on a rental car. This one works differently: it is the first half of the fee itself. It is 50 percent of the ladder price, named in writing in the booking conversation once the hour has been agreed, and paid before the therapist sets out.
Which bookings carry it
Half in advance confirms:
- any booking made more than 24 hours before its start, which covers most sessions arranged from the far end of a trip;
- every overnight;
- every booking for two therapists;
- every Schiphol or airport-hotel booking, whatever its length and however soon it starts, since those rooms are by arrangement and the journey time is agreed with you before anything is fixed;
- the peak calendar, which means Pride, ADE, King's Day, the stretch from Christmas to New Year, and the weeks of the large conferences;
- three hours or more in a single session;
- a new client's first booking, at any length.
Only one booking skips the advance half and is paid in full when she arrives: a returning client's massage of one or two hours, booked for later the same day, at a room in the city.
Sums from the terminal side
A red-eye passenger's first ninety minutes confirm with half of their price. Three hours during a long connection confirm the same way, with half sent before she sets out. An overnight before a dawn departure is held by half of its fixed sum, with the other half paid in the room.
How it travels
Card is the first way to pay it, with Revolut, Wise or cryptocurrency for anyone who would rather use them. Cash never serves, since notes only change hands once she is in the room. The exact amount and where to pay it appear only in the booking conversation, after the hour is agreed; a request for money that comes earlier, or from any other account, is not from the house.
When a trip changes shape
What happens to the deposit follows your notice, not the airline. With more than 24 hours left before the start, every euro comes back. Inside those 24 hours, before she has left, half stays with the house as fee already earned; once she is on her way, all of it counts as earned. If another client takes the hour, you are repaid in full, and if you can show the house lost less than it kept, it keeps less. If the house cannot perform the session, you choose between the money back and a new date.
