Red-Eye
A red-eye leaves late and lands early after a night in the air; at Schiphol it shapes in-room bookings both before the departure and after the landing.
The name comes from how passengers look when they step off: a flight that leaves around midnight, spends the dark hours in a seat, and lands at dawn. Schiphol sees them in both directions. After landing
The difficulty after an early arrival is usually the room, not the session. Plan the session to end with time to shower, dress, pack and reach the airport before bag drop closes, not merely before boarding. Two hours ending at 20:30 suits a departure after 23:30 far more comfortably than three hours ending at 21:30.
